Sea Gallantry Medal 

The Sea Gallantry Medal is the official Board of Trade Medal for Saving Life at Sea and is an award for civil gallantry at sea in Great Britain and the Commonwealth. The medal is awarded in Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The award of this medal permits the usage of a post-nominal SGM.

The following members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service have been awarded the Sea Gallantry Medal in Silver and Bronze.
